Biography

Living free, it’s message is simple. “To live free, not imprisoned; not affected by circumstance or condition”. Often we find ourselves weighed down with problems and cares of life. We forget that we no longer have to live in bondage or carry those burdens. Through Christ we can live free. For Brent Lee, Donnie Marr, and Trey Marr, the intentions behind their efforts are to spread the greatest truth to as many people as they possibly can through their music.

In November of 2000 Exalted recorded their first project, “Cast Your Nets”. The trio was excited to know that many lives were changed through their first recording.

In March of 2002 God blessed and Exalted signed and exclusive recording contract with Lamp Music group where they immediately began working on their second recording entitled, “Holding To The Promise”. Two songs from this project was released to radio, both receiving a tremendous response from radio stations all across the country.

In October 2003 Exalted signed and recorded their third recording with Les Butler of Butler Music Group in Nashville, TN. Their first release to radio was “Come To The River”. The song was voted “Fan Pick” on the sogospelnews.com website and appeared at #12 on RSC for the month of June 2004. The song was later selected as the #34 song for 2004 by the RSC.

In March of 2005 Exalted released “Count Me In” which became the group’s first top 80 song in the Singing News Magazine topping out at #59.

In 2006 Exalted released two other recordings entitled, “Encore” and “Without Walls”. These recordings are a collection of some of the group’s favorite songs.

In 2007 Trey joined Donnie and Brent as the trio’s new tenor. God is opening many doors for the group as they are currently working on their sixth recording entitled, “Living Free” and will be appearing at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY as well as numerous churches and auditoriums across the nation.

In a world of uncertainty, God’s love never changes. This is the promise that compels the group to encourage the weak, pray for the sick, and share Christ with the world. This is Exalted.
